We’re committed to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and labour exploitation within our operations and supply chain. However, we recognise that modern slavery remains a significant human rights risk that can affect organisations across all sectors and geographies. We therefore take a risk-based and proportionate approach to identifying, assessing and addressing modern slavery risks through our governance, procurement and supplier engagement processes.
Our approach includes:
- Annual publication of our Modern Slavery Statement.
- Modern slavery and human rights awareness training.
- Partnership with the Slave-Free Alliance to strengthen our approach.
- Human rights and labour standards requirements within our Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Risk-based supplier due diligence and onboarding processes.
- Supplier engagement through platforms including Sedex and EcoVadis.
- Enhanced due diligence in higher-risk categories and regions.
- Ongoing review of grievance and remediation mechanisms.
Our programme is aligned with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, our Human Rights Policy, Responsible Procurement Policy and our commitments under the United Nations Global Compact. It also supports our wider sustainability objectives and focus on responsible business conduct throughout our operations and global supply chain.
